Depends how you measure and value family tradition against the btc amount. For me i wouldn't sacrifice what i believe in for that sum of money. Different people different opinion

Just do it, they have laser removal if you end up hating it someday. It would probably be pretty cool, people could send you money by scanning your neck.  |

What do you think! I have never received a tattoo in my life and it's somewhat against my families German / Polish culture! But if there's one thing I would tattoo it would probably be my wallets QR code or the BTC symbol or the "POWER" sign we all see on our computers ON/OFF Button  Discuss! If you post something interested please share your BTC (or any other form of cryptocurrency address for a generous donation <3) if you want my opinion, i say don't do it or at least don't get it on your neck. since you don't have any tattoos i'd say you will regret it for the rest of your life. but if you really wanna do it , change its place at least. for example having it on your arm is way better than your neck. i think it even looks cooler on your forearm and more accessible too. |

I don't think its a good idea. Plus, in 20 years, due to sagging of skin and what not, it probably won't even be scan able anymore. Can you imagine having someone trying to scan your QR code and having to smooth skin back into place to get it to work.
Plus, if the computer gets hacked that stores the private key for that address, then the QR code is worthless. Not impossible, but definitely challenging to keep that hidden forever.

Then you will be stuck with an invalid BTC address for the rest of your life. Maybe tatoo it on your arm, it is easier to remove it from there if its needed! |
