Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

im not new to go crypto but more importantly, I don't believe this coin is legit. The fact that it's still not backed by gold after first checking in over a year ago and no framework bothers me
Why you all newbies keep saying that? read all the text in aurumcoin.com
No one said that the coin is backed NOW, but that it will be tied to gold and then when people agree on value of 1 oz it will be backed with third parties
slimier idea to bitcoin but with known agreed value what this relevant with legitimacy?
It is an open source distributed cryptocoin same as bitcoin from 2014!  continuous growing if you think its pumped sell! if you believe its dumped buy!!

there are alot of coins that have taken bitcoin code, did you know there are over 70 bitcoins? The point for me was the fact that nothing has changed in one year. No framework, no anything. I don't know about FnN or the others posting here, but that is my personal opinion.

Fun fact : Did you know that gold requires a license?

https://news.bitcoin.com/bitcoin-has-now-forked-almost-70-times/  - An interesting read

So have you applied for a license yet or what has changed framework wise in 5 years that could possibly make it backed by gold?

Did you ever apply for licensing for gold?

Also have you found any sort of audit system to handle any requests in the last 5 years that you have been working on this coin?

I think those guys are just trolls, but I want to seriously ask you this. That's why I mentioned that this coin is shady in that aspect.

It's easy to make a "gold-equivalent" coin, take for example I make a coin called "Neloc75 coin". I fork bitcoin from a repo, reduce the supply, maybe change the blocktime add some random tweaks and make it "flashy", it will still just be bitcoin but with some tweaks and no different than the other endless bitcoin clones out there. But if I take steps to add bullion and other precious metals to support my hypothetical coin, then I can say that it is backed by such and such. It takes a few years to get government approval depending on your jurisdiction in the world, but it's important. The same can be said about having an audit for such. You need some way that people can see that it is equal to such and such, perhaps through a 3rd party auditing partner.

TLDR : Aurumcoin is just a bitcoin clone as it stands, unless steps have been taken to successfully add bullion to support this coin. The original creator abandoned this coin, so that may play a factor in KYC requirements for precious medals as well, but idk.

AurumCoin.com team have the TM and have no problem to make KYC far as I know from q&a on AurumCoin.com Website they wanted first to buy the gold via indiegogo campaign but it was paused because it considers to be financial benefits. That is why they now weit for the coin to reach 1 Oz value. I hope for the best for this coin.

I envy all the people that had  purchased AU at  a lower price, I did  end up  missing out on all  that sweet low-priced  AU tokens, sadly enough. Well, we'll see if there's one  more price  jump in the future.
