I thought it would be fun to collect some opinions from the bitcoin community about how bright is the future of bitcoin or how dark it will be so basically decribe Bitcoin future in few words then give arguments of course because without arguments ... It's useless . Everyone could say that the price will rise or fall without a reason .

Akon has promoted bitcoin in Africa and believes in it. Ashton Kutcher too questions if the world can have decentralized security and promotes bitcoin, even invested his money in Bitpay. Rapper Nas is an investor in Coinbase, a website which every bitcoin noob has visited atleast once. Lilly Aleen who was asked to perform live for hundreds and thousands of bitcoins, she refused and said 'as if' before, regrets now Even Snoop Dogg once tweeted that his album would be “available in bitcoin" and "delivered in a drone". He was ofcourse kidding. I provided information about famous people speaking a few words about bitcoin, otherwise who really gives a shit about my opinion either way?

Bitcoin's future is quite unpredictable I would say. While there are several big companies directly involved in bitcoin, they have found ways to not be affected by its price. So aside of traders and bagholders, there aren't many big players that want its price stay high. Some are hinting that adoption equals a price increase as it'll get demand higher but I think that it's more than just that. Bitcoin could be big in terms of adoption but that doesn't guarantee that its price will go 'to the moon'.

As long as I can avoid using shitty payment providers, banks and in a certain way the government, I will continue to trust in Bitcoin.

Someday any other thing will replace it and BTCs value will go to 0 forever. That's for sure. Hope before it, if I'm alive, BTC value got a very notable new record and give me a chance to buy a house and a car (in my country that's not very difficult if BTC value goes over 100k dollars ).

Or maybe there'll always be something with that name which bears no resemblance to its current form. Sending unforgeable money through the airwaves is an idea that's unlikely to go out of fashion any time soon. In an ideal future there wouldn't be any money though.

Our world is evolution, Internet evolutionates faster... probably tomorrow wouldn't appear that thing I'm speaking about -another kind of virtual money is on my mind-, but I'm sure someday anybody will reach something better and notable than BTC. When it will appear? I really don't know, all is possible

When it will appear? I really don't know, all is possible It's not like switching social networks. If Bitcoin really did conquer the world then BTC itself would evolve alongside it. You couldn't just hop from coin to coin when vast amounts of wealth was tied up in it. It would've spent decades building enough trust for people to take the plunge. They're not going to do it all over again in a hurry. We're seeing that right now with conventional currencies and the switch to Bitcoin. If it ever happens en masse it'll be a slow and very gradual grind.

People will not be walking around with paper pieces with a dead irrelevant dude and 3 misleading numbers on them in their pockets in year 2065.
That's for sure.

Bitcoin will have a future. It's just that it's not the time for it to sparkle. Just wait until Bitcoin XT goes down and then we will see how well it would go for good old Bitcoin.
