Ok, I know it's kind of old news, but I think we need more people with the patience and drive to explain Bitcoin to newbies like these guys at Paxful
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MRcA01xt2L0&feature=shareI think they totally get it and have the vision to take it mainstream with patience and hard work. If we want more people/merchants to accept BTC or to use it, we need to
engage in 1 on 1 engagement with them. Most people have only read bad things in the media and their fears are legitimate. I engage in these discussion on a daily basis and
I hear terrible stories about Bitcoin, most of it bad. I then discuss this with these people, and within 15min to 30min they get the true picture and they start using Bitcoin.
We need more services like this, that would engage in 1-on-1 discussion with people. {Either via online chat services or phone calls}
Where are the companies supporting new Bitcoin adoption, and how are they doing it? People need personal assistance at first to get the safest possible route into Bitcoin and
they will continue using it, if it was a good experience.
Come share your stories here, on how you first heard of Bitcoin and how you would have wanted to hear about it. Good or bad.. Let's make it better for everyone.
I salute these guys, this is really hard, hard work, but this is what will lead us to that much wanted mass adoption. Everybody should take a look at this video, to actually understand better, how much we are not ready yet for mass adoption.
People say, we'll it's easy to scan a QR code and hit a send button. But in the video, they actually explain how hard is to even a copy and past and address for some people and how many decimal numbers scare people.
So it's not just buying and securing bitcoins which is hard, even the basic sending operations can be overwhelming to many.
