Won't change anything. Ripple is and will stay centralized crap. Furthermore several BTC startups have former Bankers or Managers from traditional financial industry on their pay roll.
Bitnet (John McDonnell Senior Vice President for Visa and Head of Business Development for CyberSource) and Xapo(Dee Hock Founder of Visa, Lawrence H Summers former Secretary of the Treasury under Bill Clinton) are two examples which immediately come in to my mind for instance. So nothing special here.
