Sad to see Chile get knocked out of the competition and also USA. Really wanted to see Pulisic perform in this World Cup. Anyway, International Week is over and I won that bet I made with Argentina match.

The USA embarrassed themselves with their lackluster performance throughout the qualifying stages. They deserve to not qualify at all and with Holland its a damn shame they seem to go down the rabbit hole every time first they couldn't go to the Euro's and now the World Cup.

Holland's elimination really shock me because some time ago this was one of my favorite teams great players and good technique but in recent years they are not good as in past other Chile is also very good but fail to qualify this year as competition is very tough and they fail to produce good result most surprising entry Panama

what a performance? I am sure that nobody expects such type of performance from him. every Argentine football fans got rid of their depression or confusion. but Messi has done a remarkable history that will be remembered for a long time.

I personally expected him to be the hero of the night. When the pressure is high on him, he always do something special that makes people wonder how can he do that. He keeps proving that he is incomparable with other players and belong to the top three players of all time and maybe he is the best ever.
Argentina passed the crisis. Now Sampaoli have all the time he needs to evaluate his team and make the right choices to present a better performance in the finals.
We are going to witness a great competition between big countries and i'm so exited to see which nation will be the world champion.

What are the current odds for Messi lifting the World Cup with Argentina next year?

the draw for the 2018 FIFA World Cup will take place on December 1, 2017 in Moscow. the 32 qualified national teams will be divided into four pots of eight, with a team selected from each pot to form a group.

in the first pot there will be Russia (host country) plus the 7 best ranking teams
All teams will be seeded using the October 2017 FIFA World Ranking standings , due to be released on 16 October 2017


Currently these are the possible 4 pots:

-Germany,Brazil,Portugal,Argentina,Belgium,Poland,France,Russia:  it is officially the pot 1

-Mexico,England,Spain,Uruguay,Colombia: these already qualified teams are definitely in pot 2
in the pot 2 can go to Peru, Switzerland and Italy if they qualify through the playoffs, otherwise there will be Iceland, Costa Rica (already qualified)

-Iran and Egypt are definitely in pot 3

-Panama, Saudi Arabia and South Korea are definitely in pot 4

The FIFA U 17 World Cup is very interesting now, The host have already been eliminated as they lost their last game in the group stages by four goals to nil against the Ghanaians, and even though the USA placed 3rd in their group, they too have qualified because they were part of some of the best runner ups in the group stages.

The German Under 17 team was eliminated today by the Brazilians in a 2-1 game. Germany went ahead when they won and converted a penalty and dominated the game but the Brazillians grew into the game and scored two goals in the space of five minutes and advanced into the semi finals.

The Spanish Under 17 male side secured qualification to the semi finals with a three one (3-1) victory over their counterparts from Iran, they will therefore meet the current African Under 17 champions who beat Ghana by two goals to one to qualify for the Semi Finals.

The team is too overreliant on Messi and if they don't learn to play and support him I bet they are going to have problems with their world cup campaign. They have to change completely and play for the teams progress.

I guess the U 23's will triumph over the U 17's in that game. It's a shame in this modern age and time African countries are still cheating in age competitions and yet it doesn't reflect in their performances when they grow or in their senior national team.

Group D: potentially all four teams: Senegal (8, Burkina Faso(6), Cape Verde(6) South Africa(4) can qualify.
Senegal is the favorite because it has 2 games to play and only needs 1 victory.

The only thing that will sadden me about Italy's lack of qualification is Buffon because I think this man was wrong because he was born Italy, he gave Italy more than he gave him
