Bitcoin: An Idea Worth Spending

The reason I'm asking is due to the following image:

The image was gleaned from Hi, my name is Sonny Vleisides. I put the quote is code tags because the thread is locked, but if it wasn't, it would look like the following:

Code:
...I'm on a good track now, trying to put the past behind me.

[img]http://communityhosting.net/ih/images/sfamj.jpg[/img]

Somewhere along the way, I got involved with the BFL project...

Note the communityhosting.net part.

There's only a small handful of ways for which this feat could have been accomplished.

  • Sonny Vleisides owns communityhosting.net. (unlikely)
  • He knows somebody who owns communityhosting.net and had them host the image. (very likely)
  • Somebody at communityhosting.net is representing Sonny Vleisides. (not outside the realm of possibility)
  • Sonny Vleisides has free access to communityhosting.net. (unlikely)

Although number two could be the most logical, it does beg the question as to why Sonny didn't simply post the image above on some free image provider anonymously.

Other images with the similar URL can be viewed here: https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ie=UTF-8&ion=1#hl=en&sugexp=les%3B&gs_nf=1&tok=0eEB0IehpnHPd5fK6SKAFA&cp=32&gs_id=1&xhr=t&q=%22communityhosting.net/ih/images%22&pf=p&output=search&sclient=psy-ab&oq=%22communityhosting.net/ih/images%22&gs_l=&pbx=1&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_cp.r_qf.&fp=3e89ad7373ddd1eb&biw=1280&bih=685&ion=1

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

http://whois.domaintools.com/communityhosting.net

My anger against what is wrong in the Bitcoin community is productive:
Bitcointa.lk - Replace "Bitcointalk.org" with "Bitcointa.lk" in this url to see how this page looks like on a proper forum (Announcement Thread)
Hashfast.org - Wiki for screwed customers
