Tried two pools, and the newest cgminer 2.7.6
restarted my bitcoin rig, then tried the .bat file with scrypt
and gives me a pool error which I know is wrong
3x5970's. I only have 2gb onboard ram, win7 64-bit
0.13BTC reward to get me litecoin mining at a good rate obviously. mining page shows 750khash/s with 5970
I think i have drivers 12.6. I am using onboard video as main display, first gpu as secondary

Have you specified your shaders? What commands are you running cgminer.exe with?

And you are looking at 1600 shaders for the 5970, make sure you are using that number

Tomorrow or so I'll go through starting from first suggestion and see if i get it working thanks everyone EDIT: nothings working; just keep getting crashes; with the tutorial it was showing my cores get up to 300 but then it would crash and right off the bat one of my cards would crash maybe card's bad or overworked, maybe what this guy said is true: ("Im convinced mining or some settings while mining destroys 5970's VRAM") https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=99058.0

are you using your worker login to mine, or your account login? some pools are unclear that you have to make a worker.
Usually username is [username].# and password is whatever you want
