Some POS coins are profitable but most of them are not. I've been staking Tekcoin and it's been working pretty well for me. You can mint up to 40% interest on your TEKcoin balance after every 30+ days. Even still, it is recommended to do a research before getting started with any coin.  Smiley

it highly depends on the amount of coins you have. i made experiences with some pos coins and you need at least 1 to 2% of all coins in oder to find blocks reguarly. Most pos coins have only a few transactions what however means that there are a lot of empty blocks, meaning blocks without transaction fees.

Could you tell some about how much of the total coins you have and how many blocks you find a week?

I've been making a research on POS coins, and so far the most profitable ones are HyperStake, Tekcoin, and Diamond.  Roll Eyes

I am Staking about 410k CON (11.3 mil money supply at time of writing) and I get about 3k a day or 21k a week.

1 minute Block time
2 day min age
14 day max age
30 Coins per Block (static)

Wallet comes with Litestake, advanced Coin Control, SplitBlock (for splitting inputs), Multisend GUI along with a number of other useful features.

Also available on Android

Could you tell some about how much of the total coins you have and how many blocks you find a week?
Would be interesting for me because I always looking for some new promising and profitable POS coins.

Is the android app actually good? The ones I've used have horrible interfaces... Some don't work at all

POS coins are not better than all premine junks around here. They both are useless piece of junk. You give free money which has no economical value to someone you don't know. Seriously?

It blows my mind that CON isn't dead, it was a total joke coin in the GAW thread and now is being suggested for a serious stake coin lol.

It's still a joke looking at who mentioned that coin. Promoting another scamcoin in his signature, guess why? Wink

Again there is a difficulty for POS coins too so you need to check before you invest as some coins require big blocks otherwise your chances of getting a stake is difficult...

Are you sure you are on the right forums? It fits the Crypto crowd perfectly, possibly the biggest mistake is trying to take Crypto too seriously when it's better to just have fun and push the tech.

Usually it takes some time to see an ROI via POS... And usually the coin is dead by the time you do...

Yes, they are!

I'm personally a fan of SNRG (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1070124.0;topicseen), soon rewards will be kicking up from a flat 1 reward to a flat 4 reward in one week!

Yeah I was in that forum when you were pushing the coin and launching it with the annoying countdown, nothing against you but there have been plenty of fun coins that are goofy and die in a month, I am surprised this didn't follow.

That was actually a great little event, Stake week. Those countdowns were pre-setup scripts to launch at the exact time the timers hit 0 and would increase everyone's Stake rewards for a week while also readying a core update.

I love Crypto and seeing a project advance and PayCon allows complete freedom, also I'm super active on Bitcointalk and great at managing a team environment. Many people have asked me why I'm wasting my time with PayCon, to me it represents Crypto perfectly and I get to know more developers over time.

Also updated the wallet releases today with Multisend GUI to replace Stake For Charity, small fix to the Hashsettings, and link to the Cryptsy market. I've has some requests for a version without TOR so users now have a choice in the newest versions.
