Hi everyone, I am Evolo.
I will be providing this weekly lottery game for all of you who's bored!
Stick around with me for the weekly games and let's have fun!!

Here is how the game works

1. Click on one of the links below
2. Download the text file
3. Open and see if there is a code e.g 12345
4. If you won, there will be a code & a congratulatory message in the text file. PM me with the code & leave a reply here with your btc address! (Make sure you don't reveal the code with the reply! or you will be getting less earnings!!)

PLEASE NOTE THAT NEWBIE ACCOUNTS ARE NOT QUALIFIED TO PLAY THIS GAME
This is to prevent accusations of me manipulating the game.

Every week, there will be 20 new text files uploaded on satoshibox. In which ONE of them will be a text file with a code included.

95% of the earnings for the week will be given to the winner/winners.
If there's more than 1 winner, the total earnings will be distributed equally between the winners.
(e.g: Weekly earnings - 0.5 BTC, 2 Winners therefore 0.25BTC each)
5% of the earnings will be taken as commission.


It will cost 0.001BTC to download the file. This will be the earnings accumulated for distribution.
All earnings will be publicly available for view via the blockchain.

No offense but I see a big problem in the idea. The winning file is chosen by you, and it is possible for you to use an alt account to be the winner and to take all or part of the winnings if there are some other legit winners. Plus, 15% fee is huge in bitcoin gambling.

ndnhc's advices.  

1. Use an escrow.
Details:
Get an escrow, transfer funds to be held with him as long as it is running. Funds should be a reasonable amount.

2. Lower the fee. A 5% is good enough. The lower the better

3. Make the game provably fair.
Details: You can hash the url of the winning satoshibox link or the number or both with random characters to avoid players brute-forcing it, using a one-way hashing function like SHA256, publish the hash before the game. When the winner is announced you will have to publish the message you hashed.

I think 15% fee is way to big for gambling. I also think that you should use an escrow so we know you can pay the prizes and are not just going to run away with the money.
I also don't understand why you use the txt file method, why not use a probably fair system and random generate all tickets and the winner.

Like Buziss said, if you are the one to create and choose the tickets, nothing prevents you from creating an alt account and keep the prize for yourself. Not saying that you will do it, but that doubt will always stay so I don't think it will attract customers for your lottery.

Well, is it possible for you to change the text file i.e. re-upload a different file but with the same link? If so, provably fair would mean using that.
If not, I think quoting the OP would suffice.

I still haven't found a solution that could avoid a situation in which you could win yourself. May be let escrow upload everything and give you the links? lol, it is something to think about, but right now, I am really busy.
