Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Dunno actually. Never had an issue before but this coin really kills my server after getting a stratum request.

I remember people had issues setting up pools for zcoin.
Just in case for typo, added getworkex value.

We need to collect a bounty table.
First to add will be, of course:
-translations.
How much should the bounty amount be, in HexxCoins?

Waiting them to update into new code.
They are hard to reach, tickets and post sent there.

Meanwhile we should plan new exchanges.

Cryptopia seems to be a good goal.
They ask 1 Million Dot coins to list a coin.
Dot is currently valued about 0.00000036BTC / DOT
Equals 0.36BTC

There is still 3 users building a frok chain since block 2328.
Please check your block height and hash against blockexplorer.

For now the synch solution is to use v 3.0.0.6 / 99006 clients.
If it still fails to sync, use fresh wallet.dat until full synch.
After full synch replace your original wallet and you are uptodate.

Added checkpoints to git and wallets.
Latest Block #4864 fd6058b035ea64fcd1b9660bee64c83481ecaa7f9a6479b6b934cb74b83e17f7

Zcoin is fighting with even worst synch problems.

If we want to modify the reward table it should be done soon.
3 weeks seems too long time to wait.

My proposal gives 5 days to update before we hit block 8064:

2 weeks / 1 coin
1 week / 3.125 coins <--starting from block 8064 , we are now at block 5000
1 week / 6.25 coins
2 weeks / 12.5 coins
6 weeks / 6.25 coins
6 weeks / 3.125 coins
6 weeks / 1.5625 coins
And finally, 1 coin

Code:
iint64 static GetBlockValue(int nHeight, int64 nFees, unsigned int nTime)
{
    if (nHeight == 0) // Genesis block is 0 coins
        return 0;
    if (nHeight == 1) // Coin swap amount
        return 996714 * COIN; // account HGkojYYJzwqm8XBYSLii5nVommLEVYUong , all funds sent to owners before block 800
else if (nHeight <= 8064) // 2 weeks
        return 1 * COIN; // no fees
int64 nSubsidy = 12.5 * COIN; // Subsidy is cut in half every 24192 blocks which will occur approximately every 6 weeks.
    int halvings = nHeight / 24192;
if (nHeight <= 12096) // 1 week
nSubsidy = 3.125 * COIN;
    else if (nHeight <= 16128) // 1 week
        nSubsidy = 6.25 * COIN;
    if (halvings >= 4)// Force block reward to 1 coin when right shift is undefined.
        nSubsidy = 1 * COIN; // final reward
    nSubsidy >>= halvings;
return nSubsidy + nFees;
}

Hmm whats the problem with the daemon for opening a pool ?

it works just fine:

https://hexx.suprnova.cc

Miner:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1326803

./cpuminer -a zoin -o stratum+tcp://hexx.suprnova.cc:2876 -u suprnova.1 -p x

Dunno actually. Never had an issue before but this coin really kills my server after getting a stratum request.

Hope you find it and share it for others.

Ok lets do it, else we run out of time.

New reward table!
2 weeks / 1 coin <--no fees
1 week / 3.125 coins <--starting from block 8064
1 week / 6.25 coins
2 weeks / 12.5 coins
6 weeks / 6.25 coins
6 weeks / 3.125 coins
6 weeks / 1.5625 coins
And finally, 1 coin

Timer:

https://www.timeanddate.com/countdown/generic?iso=20170219T00&p0=136&msg=Countdown+Timer&font=cursive

New code and wallet released.
After block 8064 you will need v 3.0.0.7 / 99007 client.
Update before block 8064!
