OP,
I purchased this product and the auto buy was good, I instantly received email about the video link then after payivy confirmed the transaction. The video tutorial does not contains voice tutorial but yeah he uses Microsoft Word to type in the steps. (But your typing skills is too slow). I confirm that the email activation from video tutorial was took so long (2 hours or less). This needs patience. I don't think you're wasting your $1 to acquire this VPS. I will post vouch again after i evaluate if the vps works and i can login onto it

I bought a copy yesterday
it is a virtual lab to teach how to build data center with virtual infrastructure
(routers, networks, servers, firewalls, & load-balancers) for it student.
you can't use it as production environment it only for testing and learning
your account will be periodically monitored to make sure no one tries to run production workloads in this environment.
for me as a web developer it is a good deal for testing my app's and try different server configuration .
and after about 16 hrs I still not getting my activation email
it is manual process they use google forms
I will update after I get it

I think you can also run game servers in the cloud. But they can able to maintain / monitor what you are doing in cloud.
It's very cheap for me and not a scam.

OP Problems / Issues I'm giving cautions to all user to buy this product at your own risk. After i followed his method, The vps were successfully created but.... I'm not able to login through SSH / Putty because ports are not forwarded. I must subscribe to another service / request which is "port forwarding request", It's another $1, which you also need a "public / floating ip address" that cost "$5 per month", Although the payment method is paypal only. They don't accept bitcions i don't know why. My Conclusion: - I believe it's a private / testing purposes only (good for students) - You can't not build / host game servers under their circumstances (I mentioned above that you need to buy/request (Floating - Public IP Address that cost $5 per month), So that you can proceed to portforwarding request that cost $1 per month. Final Vouch: No, $1 is not worth for me, I need to subscribe to another service which is port forwarding subscription and public ip subscription. Total Value you could spend: $7 - Per month, and $20 yearly. They only accept paypalThat's all! |

Have anyone tried running some workload on the servers? Did the company actually stop the vps, as they are able to monitor them?
So, it is actually impossible to use the vps without port forwarding?

Yes you can, but you can't run public servers like Minecraft,SAMP,TS3, etc because port forwarding is not available. OP didn't explained it at all. Yes you can use the vps without portforwarding, but i'm sure they are monitoring you. As what the op video site mentioned, It's for students only. $1 is enough for lazy peoples, You can actually find the website where you can get that vps for students using google |
