You need 4000 btc today to be as a millionaire. If btc leap to 1000 usd in three years. You need only 4000/5 = 800 btc to be known as millionaire.

depend on how many millions you want, if you just want 1 million only, the typical 100x10k should work good, so 100 btc are enough to hold
the less coins you have the more you have to wait, theoretically... are you willing to wait more and risking that bitcoin will become worthless for whatever reason, or you can't wait and it's better for you to have 1k btc at least?

I think 10000 should be enough. Then you are covered down to $100. If it goes lower than that you could just buy more...

Being a Bitcoin millionaire in 5 years I would guess at least 1000 bitcoins are needed. So not many will be able to achieve that. However 10 bitcoins is a goal everybody should try to reach.And maybe in 10-15 years when Bitcoin still exists these 10 coins make you wealthy as well. In the end it's all speculation and that's why the thread belongs in that section. |

Share Your thoughts. it depends on how much you think bitcoin is going to grow or fall. there are so many different opinions that i am sure soon you will see in this thread. if bitcoin goes back to its high price of $1000-1200 then you will need at least 1000 BTC to have at least one million which won't make you a millionaire. |
Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.

In the next 5 years if you want to be a millionaire you need about 2000 BTC if bitcoin price still like this or even higher from now. But if bitcoin price go down, that's a different story. In the next 3 years, i would say you need about 1000-1500 BTC to get millionaire rank  . I can't predict what would happen to bitcoin in next 3-5 years accurately, so maybe you just need to get about 500 BTC or even 5000 BTC to be a millionaire depend on bitcoin price on market in that time. |

do you really think being a millionaire in 5year is really even possible but I will pray to god that you became a millionaire and after being millionaire give me 5% of your property..btw I don't think gathering 800bitcoin are possible in 5 year you need 20-25years and a lot of hard work

You need Bitcoin, you need a couple altcoins, you need some stocks, properties and gold too. As much as you can afford to gather. If you diversify, you have a chance. If you play all on Bitcoin card, you have 50% to win big and 50% to lose all. If you'd know for sure that it's about winning, you would not ask: you'd put all your savings into Bitcoin. But you don't. Diversify. |

This is as true as "people not winning at lottery don't get rich". With so many options, if you have some start amount to invest, you have a good chance to win. Of course, you have to use your brain and adjust when needed (like the ones who sold BTC at 1000$ and bought back - or not? - much later). |

No interest can be gained off of it. Once Bitcoin stabilizes and increases steadily in value, then people will store their wealth in Bitcoin. Bitcoin's too young right now, and too volatile for the rich to do that. Once it starts an uptrend, there will be an explosive amount of growth, since more people know about it and want to jump on the train, it may fall just as visciously back down, unless Bitcoin finds it's place in society. Once it does, as little as 10 could make you a millionaire. |
