That might take a few extra millenia (technological advances & whatnot) but who knows, maybe we can live that long by that time Not if something terrible happens like a virus outbreak or something like a risk from space , where technology might advance sooner like it did during the world wars. |

I wasn't able to watch all the Stargate SG-1s, but did the Ancients put Stargates only on planets with exactly the same gravity? Would be a bitch to keep going between different levels, unless all the other planets you gated to had lesser gravity than the planet you spent most of your time on.

Why wouldn't you be able to connect to Earth internet? I'd imagine that it would be slow, but still usable. |

Since I was a child its been my dream to live on a space colony and explore the universe, I would not hesitate to leave earth.
Living on planets is only for lowtech organisms. The high tech ones will be living on bigger than planet space colony that can travel whenever they go and the weather and other natural disasters inside the spaceship are controlled.
