Hi Bitcointalkers!
Since the beginning, I've always been an hashnest\ bitmain customer.
I was wondering if any of you guys has bought the PACMIC contract from them. I was looking to know if you are satisfied and if it's worth the investment.
Let me know your experience with these contracts.

I bought PACMIC v3. With auto-buy on, it gives you ~2% monthly interest on your total investment. It's basically a low-rent loan, to hashnest. Calc: Web: http://steal1982.altervista.org/pacmic_calculator.phpPython script: http://steal1982.altervista.org/hashnest.php

I could be wrong, but It seems to be profitable if the price maintains its current "stability". The contract runs for how long? as long as its profitable it runs?

Yeah, as long as S5 is profitable, or when they run out of contracts to buy. https://www.hashnest.com/contracts/newThere was 30.000 available 25 days ago. The auto-buy feature, buys from the same pool of available contracts.

I even believe we will still see a $400 BTC price before the end of the year I guess I'll put in a few coins and let's see if it works out fine!

Given the unstable BTC price, its ofc not the best "investment" in the world. But if you got 100 BTC laying around in cold storage, waiting for the moon, it would give you 2 BTC a month in interest, if you invested in PACMIC v3. (Given that hashnest don't run away with the money) I'd say the risk/profit ratio on the PACMIC is fair. I was lucky with my PACMIC I think. I buy BTC, by converting from NOK to USD first. The value of NOK against USD has fallen, which means I get more NOK for the same BTC when I sell, even if BTC against dollar falls in price. (Its complicated)

Calc: Web: http://steal1982.altervista.org/pacmic_calculator.phpPython script: http://steal1982.altervista.org/hashnest.phpthe point is that, this amount is so low that you can do it with faucets, without investing anything, minus your time or not even that if you have a good bot, why bothering with hashnest..... basically with one tera you have something like 0.012 per month, it's like earning nothing not worth it, i think it's better to go with the hash thing directly, than contract, when you can repay your miners there is pure profit awaiting you Well, 2% is 2%, not nothing.
