Hi guys, Im having some problems with a 6990 i got from a friend

msi hd6990 (stock clocks, bios switch in default position)
950w PSU ( basic, generic, whatever you want to call it, its craphttp://www.maplin.co.uk/950w-g7-extreme-modular-atx-psu-517553
Win7 64bit
catalyst 12.8 (tried 11.4 first, would not install without failing)
bitminter miner

running bitminter or phoenix or other miners results in:

After i start mining i can get a hashrate of about 100 on GPU 0-0 and 3-400 on 0-1, should these not be around the same? Is my PSU not good enough to handle it, have i messed some settings up?

So im getting say 500 mhash/s from one 6990? That cant be right, can it? GPU-Z shows me that the crossfire used by the 6990 is active and that both GPU's are enabled.

HD6990 takes 375watt max. (so if you are only running one 6990 and an everage mobo of 150watt you would have enough with that psu.

6990 both gpu should make around 400mhash pp (total around 800 is normal with some overclock)

i think you must look to the ur sw settings but i use cgminer and linux so cannot help you with that srry..
