I'm trying to check my balance and send some BTC but this error pops up when I try to send money.

Is it just me or is there an easy fix for this?

Not just you. I thought it might be related to the "stress stest".

"So essentially CoinWallet.eu is "canceling" the stress test & giving away private keys so others will move the coins for them and inadvertently do the stress test themselves. Am I interpreting that correctly?"

No. Your safe. It's just that some group has taken it on themselves to launch a "stress test" to try overloading the network with spam transactions. They will be cleared out and the network will go back to normal eventually.

Yes, it will go back to normal "eventually"...but could take days or weeks with lag in the system.  It is pretty serious situation.  I am going to sell some of my BTC and buy back lower as this is certainly going to hurt the price in the next few days/weeks.  We just had a big rebound and due for a pullback and this will push it off the cliff.

Yea sometimes blockchain.info gives few errors and thoses guys are giving 'free' money that is so hard to take it so when people simply try to take it they will spam the network, it is a kind of ddos blockchain.info.
Better to neglect it.

Blockchain.info is here to stay, but, as many other sites sometimes it is down. But this time it was a scheduled timeout!

Luckily it was a scheduled event, their downtime of 10+ hours last week was pretty annoying Smiley

No problems here in blockchain. Must have been only a bad time to send transaction. Try some other time. As they have said coinwallet.eu is running a stress test and making people do it.

Blame coinwallet and their "btc giveaway", people have been trying to import private keys of addresses with thousands of small tx

Earlier today I got the same error for 3-4 times. It's working now. I don't blame Coinwallet's stress test, Blockchain.info should be ready for higher transaction amounts. After the block size limit raise what will they do?

Been getting this error about 3 times in the past 2 hours. They recently deployed additional hardware, yet are still unable to keep up.
