100 years ago, the Turks massacred some 3 million people (mostly Armenians, Anatolian Greeks and Assyrians), as they wanted to establish a racially pure and 100% Muslim state, without any non-Muslim minorities. The western media chose to ignore this ghastly war-crime, as the Catholic-Jewish-Sunni axis rejoiced at the extermination of the Orthodox Christians.

And now, not satisfied with the 100% Muslim state which they have achieved as a result of the 1915 genocides, the Turks have started an all out campaign to exterminate the major ethnic minority group, the Kurds (also Muslim, but unlike the Turks, more secular).

In the past 2-3 weeks, the Turkish army has moved in to Kurdish inhabited cities and villages of eastern Turkey, and have completely blockaded these areas. In just one of the cities (Cizre), more than 30 Kurdish civilians have been massacred by the Turkish army. The situation being prevalent in the other cities is similar, but information is hard to come by because of the blockade.

My question is, will the world just sat by and watch the genocide being committed by the Turks, just like what they did in 1915?

No. In 1915 the speed of information was much slower and reliability could be questioned. Also the slow speed of information helps countries ignore things that are so far away. In 2015, it's just not possible to ignore the killing of an innocent group of people. Just yesterday some camerawoman in Hungary was filmed kicking and tripping Syrian refugees. She didn't kill them yet she was immediately identified and called out for her wrong doing.

Turkey would most definitely be called out and ostracized if they started a genocide against anyone.

Turks perform repression against Kurds for many years, I doubt they will stop until they get what they wish for.

In 2015, it's just not possible to ignore the killing of an innocent group of people.

Even in 2015, it is still possible to perpetrate genocide and crimes against humanity. More than 2,000 Kurdish civilians have been massacred so far by the Turkish army (in the last 4 weeks time). But all the Western media sources are refusing to cover this news. Turkish bomber jets have crossed the Iraqi border, and bombed the Kurdish villages there. Still, no coverage from the media.
