Well i think ,yeah bitcoin is slowly moving towards becoming as a method of payment in online gambling .Due to KYC [KNOW YOU CUSTOMER] many gamblers move away from online gambling but with bitcoin being slowly introduced as a way of online gambling many casino are having a boom in their user base.I think seeing this fact , other casinos are also accepting bitcoins now which is a great news for normal bitcoin users who are gamblers as well. yes of course ,as considering its anonymity and ease of access ..imo YEs.

That is somewhat true. But I don't want bitcoin to be categorized by general public as currency of gamblers, porn watchers and dark market traders. Bitcoin image among the crowd is already messed up by media spouting nonsense about ISIS, gangsters and criminals using BTC. You are true for a good future of the bitcoin and its success; bitcoin should not have to remain attached for long time to the gambling and porn sites etc. It is true that it has a feature of anonymity and are hiding people from public who are gamblers and porn watchers, but if they are feeling there to be shameful then why they want to be there |

A lot of people may join but the largest players may still stay away. And all it would takes is one inputs.io-esque event for BTC gambling to die out a lot.
Most online casinos can be tracked, their money can be tracked, and if they run away, they can easily be caught and checked. If they claim their money was stolen, the stolen money can be stopped.
On the other hand, like what happened to inputs.io, if a casino claims that their BTC simply got stolen, and has some clause in their terms and conditions protecting them, they can just get off scot-free.
For example, most of the forums says that TF conclusively stole from inputs.io. But it can't ever be really completely proven...
Also, anonymous owners can add an even bigger problem, as there is nobody who can be held responsible for theft.... but I guess most major BTC gambling sites won't use anonymous owners.
TL;DR: All it takes is one big BTC gambling site to run away with all deposits, and BTC gambling is in trouble for a long long long time.

you are missing the biggest benefit of gambling with bitcoin, and that is the anonymity it offers. anybody from any country can gamble with bitcoin and not care about anything even in those countries like US that have strict rules about gambling and they close accounts if you do it, they can easily use bitcoin and nobody ever knows. |

you are missing the biggest benefit of gambling with bitcoin, and that is the anonymity it offers. anybody from any country can gamble with bitcoin and not care about anything even in those countries like US that have strict rules about gambling and they close accounts if you do it, they can easily use bitcoin and nobody ever knows. I think both you are talking same because if user no need to provide any documents to withdraw particular nothing but it is anonymity. Bitcoins are growing only because of gambling as of now because others bitcoin uses are very less, so if online gambling grow then surely demand for bitcoins will grow and prices will move up soon or later. |
