Two of the more interesting developments in the Bitcoin ecosystem over the past year, come in the form of using Bitcoin on popular social messaging platform Telegram and the launch of Tether.  Both projects are distinctly different from one another, but there are companies looking to combine the power of both.  HolyTransaction is one of those companies, as their new HolyTransaction Bot supports both Telegram and Tether.

I opened an account at tether.to.  It works as advertised.  You can deposit and send btc and USDtethers to and from your tether web wallet.  I tested it using tethers from my Bitfinex account.
You can also wire money to your bank account for $20, though I haven't done that yet.  Presumably, after you send tethers from Bitfinex to your tether account, you will be able to wire the fiat to your bank, which would be cheaper than sending an international wire from Bitfinex.
You can convert between btc and fiat in your account very easily.  I don't think there's a fee.  I don't know if there's a spread.
