Hi,

I have been using PrimeDice quite many times already and never had any issues. I usually always set up a new account when I use PD.

So I deposited 3 BTC today and played for a bit, ending up with ~3.5 BTC eventually (hooray). I had ~0.2 BTC withdrawn to one address and when I wanted to withdraw the rest of my 3.3 BTCs, I received an error. The withrawal did not go through, so I logged out and logged in again. And when i logged in again, the amount shown was 0.000something.

I thought maybe it's just a mistake and checked my bet logs - nothing. The logs of my bets where correct (I actually had about ~2 bets). I also checked the transaction history - also everything fine.
When I finally checked the tip-history, it mentioned, that the amount was tipped to a user called nickie45 - which I NEVER DID!!! I don't even know how to tip and I have know idea how this happned!

All of this happened within 30mins (deposit, playing, first withraw, gone BTCs, freaking out) and it was about 1,5hrs ago.

Where are my bitcoins and how did they disappear?? In the chat some people asked me, if I might have malware or whatsoever - but I can assure not to have any Malware on my computer (I use Kaspersky AV and I am super aware of malware and suspicious downloads etc.). And even if it was malware, why would it tip the amount to some other user and not withdraw it directly?!

Really freaking out here are the moment! This is quite some amount for me!
If anyone has any idea how to help - please let me know!

Thanks

Have you ever downloaded a so called "primedice bot" that is from a third party? That may be the cause of this, or someone found out your password quite easily.

maybe some one hacked your account or your account password was too easy . something like that happened with me before but it was less than $1 and the username and the password was same so someone just logged into my account and withdrawn the money. it wasn't Pd's fault so make sure your password was not easy one and someone didn't logged in.

Have you contacted primedice? Maybe this is a known bug and they can fix it. Wouldn't count on it too much though, but you never know Smiley

That's actually true. PrimeDice has been always trustworthy so far. Really hope this will sort out somehow.

I have tipped the wrong person before. But the account was untouched and abandoned. I was lucky to have a dev in the chat and he helped me to get back the btc TWICE. Lol Now i checked the name carefully before i tip.

Primedice is known to be quite trusted, I would trust them with lots of Bitcoins. What happened here is likely because of a malicious script. There were several script which are known to steal Bitcoins once you enter them into the console either by tipping or withdrawal. Have you tried any autobetting scripts before?

Can people be logged in the same time as you from a different IP with primedice? i know you can have multiple browsers open.

I don't think they prevent it. Never tested it though.

They have a large amount of bet do not believe that would ruin your reputation with petty theft.
Perhaps you should be infected with some malvare and captured your password and login.

Not saying, they stole it. But could be things which need/can be improved/fixed from PD side.

It is almost certainly malware of some sort. Just having kaspersky wont protect you against some bitcoin bot someone creates to steal your coins.

As others have been saying, it's 99.9% positive that it was some malicious script on your computer.

Has PD replied back yet? I'm curious to see what they will say to the issue.

If life gives you lemons, make orange juice and leave them wondering how you did it.

It's 99% you already affected some malware on your computer, i'm sorry for your lost, it's really freaking out, your money gone just in 30 minutes.

Better to clean your PC and make it secure, some advice: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=203876.0
