kraken do not require idendity if you are willing to accept their limit of 2k per day and 10k per months, you can go ahead and put only your street address, which could be fake for what it worth

I think 250BTC is nothing to a big exchange, you can buy it in any one bitcoin exchange.

bitstamp
btcchina
lakebtc
btc-e
itbit
bitfinex
etc..

the questions is what fiat do you use? usd is best, cny and eur also can be considered.

Moving large sum of money from your bank account to exchange will raise a lot of red flag.

People move large sums out of their account every single day. The only problem will be if your bank has an issue with Bitcoin and there are no shortage of those.

Hi ,

I want to soon buy a large quantity of bitcoins for a good price in EUR.

Can anyone suggest where or how i should buy 250BTC.

Which exchange are best and what strategy (do i buy all in 1 go?) should i use to purchase that quantity. Is BTE-e a good place to buy this quantity?

This is purely for investment purposes.

BTE-e is a great place to buy.  They have the best prices most of the time.  I don't know what the bank transfer fees are though.  I also would not recommend holding all of your coins there because I don't know much about them.

Kraken and bitcoin.de have been on the mainstream for a while now, that says something about their trust rating.

BTC-E is known as a decent exchange, but I have been reading through the internet that there are some people that complain about them processing bank deposits very slowly.

I myself will recommend Kraken as my bank deposits are coming through in quite a quick fashion, and they are also capable of handling large amounts of incoming fiat deposits.

BSV is not the real Bcash. Bcash is the real Bcash.

Kraken has the most liquid Euro market. The reason people are advising you to buy in small chunks is that often the order books arn't deep enough to absorb buys that big. Of course there are hidden orders, so no way of knowing for sure, but test it out in small amounts so you don't end up overpaying.

Huge amounts of Bitcoins should be bought between 2 or more exchanges to reduce the impact of your buy (if the traders see your big buy order, they may increase the Bitcoin price).
The big whales do this.

Yes, if you do not have any knowledge about that matter then do not risk a big amount of your money but try little amounts with different exchanges and after that when you good some knowledge about this try that one which you find better.

She do not want to wait any more and do not want to waste time in investing small amounts as the price is increasing much faster, and with kraken yes you have to prepare your documents for verification and it will also take a good time of you.

I can recommend you to do this with localbitcoins, its easy and also very reliable if you ask me.
You have all kind of sellers and you can even meet them and speak about it too.

Buying a large sum of bitcoins can be done on all kind of ways but this is also depending on how you want to pay for it.
Some people already said this and I think I can recommend this also and that is localbitcoins, I myself tried it out and its working perfect with a nearby bitcoin dealer.

I think for that much amount the OP should not have to use that exchange, I will prefer bitstamp for that amount as nowadays that exchange is considered as more reliable and this exchange also have got licensed status.

Lot of availability is found these days due to the existence of large number of bitcoin exchanges. Possibly you can try finding a. Person through our forum which might get you at a price lower than the market or exchanges.

Now in this month I will say that buying a large number of bitcoin is much better and will give you benefit as much as you wish, I mean there is a chance of double up the value of bitcoin so it will double up our own money also, and everyone is in search of double up their money.
