Of course when I finally get around to try some trading MtGox returns:

Database access error, please retry later

A few minutes after I do my first trade Sad

I checked http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/ and it appears up - but I tried on a few different computers and different connections.

Hope it's temporary.

Yeah, I can't get in either. Googling mtgox brings up a message saying it is down and they are working on an issue.

You may try again, because it is working here. I am logged in.
Bitcointalk was also down for a short time earlier...

Yeah. They're back up again. Looks like the database had problems...

Yeah MtGox came back up and now down again for me.

The forums were down for maybe 30 minutes or so before?

I think they might be having intermittent network problems or maybe some kind of network attack.

For the record: downformeoreveryonelse will only report correctly for issues involving reachability of a server (DNS routing errors and 500 type errors). For database issues such as here it will report the site as up, even if the desired functionality of the site is not.
