Shaun Of The Dead Despite the emphasis on humour, Shaun shows its zombie movie credentials with some impressively gory special effects makeup and a willingness to despatch cast members in an exceptionally gruesome fashion. One of the best comdey zombies ive ever seen , i remember the whole movie !

Schindler's List, The film of Thomas Keneally's novel is Spielberg's finest since Jaws. The elastic editing and grainy camerawork lend an immediacy as surprising as the shockingly matter-of-fact depiction of violence and casual killing. And Spielberg can handle actors - Neeson as Schindler, the German profiteer whose use of cheap labour in his Cracow factory saved 1,100 Jews from death; Kingsley as Stern, the canny accountant; Fiennes as Goeth, bloodless commandant of Plaszow camp.
Close Encounters of the Third Kind,Close Encounters takes the favoured dream of every UFO enthusiast (that the US government has been operating a cover-up) and turns it into a majestic and finally unprecedented adventure story.

The Dead Poets Society is a very thought provoking and inspiring movie. You have to be in the mood for a intense drama to watch it though.

Long time since I've posted on this thread. Been watching mainly series but :
10 Cloverfield Lane is a worthwhile mention a definite watch Green Room isn't even bothering with because all the acting was wooden The Revenant I actually thought the bear should have got the Oscar
And why are most films just the same old boring plot again and again.
To see a film which I thought was better than Green Room by miles would be Death Sentance at least the characters were believable.
Oh forgot to mention I finally bothered watching A Beautiful Mind. This film is worth persevering with and is a definite watch. The Martian is worth a watch not amazing but good.
