Yeah, this guy just about matches the image I get when I picture someone who says they haven't showered in 12 years:

one hot shower is a one of best things of life, both because the pressure of the water is very soothing and because I really can't stand the sensation of feeling dirty. I often shower two times a day

Man it would be disgusting to not have any hygene for that long, your skin would come off and you would look like a person that has leprosis

It would be the most disgusting thing, not to mention the smell. Even homeless people sometimes go to a lake or river to wash themselves, but this would be just horrible.

Man I cant even begin to imagine how disgusting this would be...

To be fair I consider going into a pool of water in any form a shower of sorts
(Beach or Pool getting drenched by rain etc)
That said Bacteria mist showers well it would be interesting to have around in a zombie apocalypse where you don't want to waste your water supplies

Having a bit of dirt on you isnt going to do much. Poor hygiene can lead to many other diseases too, plus you smell really bad. You don't need to shower every day but every few days is advisable.

I always got "disgusted" if any of my family members did bath only once a day (for instance if they came home too late at night and got too lazy or tired to go to bath). And this guy?? 12 years no shower?? Just can't imagine.. ewww....

There was a guy that used to come into my old job that would always stop and talk with my boss and I before he left - he'd go on and on about how bathing is unhealthy and how he would only shower once every few weeks - a real bizarre character and reading this story immediately made me think of him... he was a wanna-be bodybuilder that always wore the same filthy tank top and bandana - "the uniform" as we dubbed-it - and the part we would crack-up about was he wouldn't shower or bathe, but was always talking about how he had to go spray tan...

Really, the shower was invented by the ancient romans or greeks, i dont remember.

They had water conducting systems and there were saunas, pools, and showers in ancient times already.

It is not that new invention if you research it more.
