It depends on what kind of gambling you are talking about. If it is dice gambling, I think 10 cents sounds fair enough. But that amount is too little in card games like blackjack and poker. but about sports book i will suggest that 0.0001 min will be ok then only they can win some thing high.

For me i find the best bet size 0.01-0.1BTC , I have been playing with these bets at many casino and i always loose frequently until few days back when i hit a 9.9X on secondstrade.
I was lucky i bet only 0.1 BTC.

No way 50 cent can get 1 people eat for a day in my country  , maybe for some people that come from rich country will said like you..
But for peole that me that come from the third world country will vote around  0.0001-0.0005 btc for playing gambling games, but for sportsbook will bet around 0.002-0.004 btc. This is my vote rate...

But for sure it depends on yours pockets at that time you want to gambling..

minimum bet size at most of the gambling places (at least the famous Dice sites) is the smallest possible which is 1 satoshi and i also choose this amount because it is very nice and small so you can bet and lose it without any worries.

And let's say 50 is not? I hope you're joking with that 20. That may be a fair bet if you're martingaling dice but not in a card game.

For poker is a different question.

Min there is 0.1/0.2 so it's very small, we are talking of generic games like roulette blackjack and so on.
I usually martingale starting from 50 cent but it's not that problem.

10cents in dice? Are you wrong? The minimal for gambling is depends how much you can cover overall. If I have 1 btc may be I will place around 0.01 or 0.001 as my base bet so you will earn some too rather than 0.0001 and you only have 0.1 or 0.01 it will busted quickly before you can recover it

 i tend to see a lot of people using martingale starting from 1 satoshi i guess it takes a little longer but has a higher % chance of success in the short/longrun and People have the right to bet what ever amount they want as long as people can bet 1satoshi upwards of 10btc most people will be happy!

betting small is a good habit cause you just risk a little money on that, so we could have fun with low risky, if we are lucky we can both have fun and money, that's an awesome thing.

For big stake bettors like me, everything is thrilled and exciting, my heart suffers a lot if i roll big on BJ, dice or sports betting. It depends on the game u play, ideal would be 5-10 cents if u play roulette or dice. But in gambling its most important how much u can invest, for someone even 1 cent is too much.
