What do you mean gold member? Are you talking about the coins thing that pop up? so I guess you mean Full Member, Sr Member and Hero?

Hero accounts go for more than 1 Bitcoin, im not sure about the rest. It depends on the market, go on the marketplace section.

That's so shady that this site even officially allows to sell accounts!! That is just the preparation for a scam...

Price might be a lot higher now.. most have been sold that are willing to sell I was under the impression.

Indeed. I remember some Hero Member accounts being sold for more than 1 Bitcoin back when Bitcoin was about 600 USD, so I wouldn't sell a Hero below that if I had one. In any case I think it's better to keep it. Once Bitcoin is mainstream this forum will be huge and seeing an Hero Member will be even more rare and demanded.

I'll sell my account for exactly 20997254.7541 BTC.  This is non-negotiable.  I will not lower my price below this amount.

LOL that is a pretty exact number. Why not just 21000000 BTC?

EDIT: nvm, I just saw it when I typed it ROFL.

Not any more they don't. From what I gather they go for around half of that. Some sell for 0.4 though around 0.5 seems to be common. Seniors go for about 0.2 and Full go for around 0.1, but of course there are different factors involved such as post quality feedback and proof of ownership etc.

Accounts are sold here on forum under digital goods section https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=93.0 , you can explore prices and rates from threads there.
However, don't think that you can just buy account and spam to get paid; it won't last long.

cheers

Hero account price can be much higher than 1 BTC, because hero accounts are rarely on sale.  Grin I think 5 BTC for hero account can be the optimum Wink

A year or two back a hero account meant that it would've been registered in 2010-2012 when user numbers on here were far lower making it correspondingly rarer.

Tons more accounts were registered in 2013 that have become heroes, dunno about 2014 accounts, so there'll be more available than ever before.

I've seen plenty of prices around 0.4-0.6 BTC. Dunno why anyone would let them go for that. You could make that back in a month or two with a sig campaign.

Well you have answered your question basically. There are just too many of them and not all of the users are capable of doing signature campaigns and many don't want to do them so they just sell their Hero accounts.

I like to think that all of the early Hero accounts will be like collectibles one day when Bitcoin makes it big time. That's why I would never sell an early account, prior to 2014.

I'm only worth 0.45864000. But I am classed as excellent so that makes up for that particular slap in the face.

Would I let myself go for that? Hell no.

Yes, the prices are on the low side! The last I checked, I was worth 0.28 BTCs. I wouldn't give my account for 0.28. I am sure you wouldn't give yours either for 0.54. Smiley

It is a nice try though, to try and make such an estimator!

These price estimators are clearly inaccurate. A Legendary account would likely fetch near or over 1btc I reckon. They are rarely sold though.

Seniors seems to be worth around 0.2 so not far off, but you are nearly a Hero and they seem to go for 0.5 ish.

I am also thinking of buying some Sr. Account but they are rarely available so searching for full member with potential around 200 for 0.10 btc hope to get at least one. These days people rarely sale their account as most of them are bought by them in past.
