I do want to point out (just for clarity) that the account is very UNlikely to be hit with a copyright infringement "strike" until monetization is enabled, so that's not something that in and of itself helps give information.

YouTube also sucks on that end. I had a game company email me permission to use their game in a video. YouTube gave me a strike for it. I got a written letter from the game publisher and sent it to YouTube, and they striked me a second time for a second video from the same game. Contacted YouTube and they said even with the game publisher's permission to post a video (written/explicit), it's still copyright infringement.

I've been hit for multiple games now, all of which have given permission to use them beforehand.

I'm just sharing this as it's a gaming channel. When it's monetized, you open a whole flood of new issues and YouTube will do anything in their power to strike you down so they can keep all the income.

Yea but on the other hand, i never had any video taken down cause of the copyright strikes. You just need to be careful which music are you using and what content are you gonna edit. It's not a big deal really.
