for M there is only 50 or 51: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/List_of_address_prefixessharing these numbers by more than one cryptocurrency is inevitable, it seems...

xpool.ca merged mining is working well. it also seems to be triple-merge-mining MONA, which is a bonus.
Yes, seems all coins on Lyra2REv2 ports are doing very well. If you're mining on it, don't forget to set your MBL address if you want to keep your share of the MBL rewards. It's not on an exchange we support yet (Cryptsy/Bittrex/Poloniex) so it won't automatically get exchanged into your currency you're mining with. MONA and VTC will though. Cheers!

How can the claim of triple merge mining MONA be true, when MONA itself is not a merge mineable coin. There is no "getauxblock" or any such facilities in the coin?

They're probably confused when they found a MONA and VTC block close together. But they are mined only one at a time and merged with MBL.

Yes, just downgrade Python and it works right away. Solo mining Vertcoin seems just find. I got 3 blocks in 6 hours with about 70Mh/s. But nothing shows up on Mobilecash wallet. Maybe I have to give it more time.

You should have some MBL blocks already. Try to check and compare your result on http://www.xpool.ca/blocks/MBL

which port do we mine to enable merged mining to the machine that has both wallets? 5888 for VTC or 14414 for MBL?

You should have some MBL blocks already. Try to check and compare your result on http://www.xpool.ca/blocks/MBLThat was the first time I use p2pool to merged mine. I set it up and ran to my bed at 6am. I thought it worked but it did not. Actually, my miner did not connect to p2pool because I used port 5888 in my miner. That why I did not get any Mobilecash. Now, I change to port 9171 which shows up in p2pool. And my miners connect to p2pool right away. My miner's .bat file: ccminer -a lyra2v2 -o http://YOUR_IP:9171 -u USER -p PASS

I am not sure what to think on that error. Did you launch mbl wallet from the batch file? Maybe double check the moblecash.conf file too. If p2pool is working on vtc, then it must be something with a config somewhere.

Damn. I may have spoken too soon. I have the VTC p2pool working on VTC but I'm getting errors when p2pool tries to credit me some MBL. I am sure all command lines are correct. The problem just came from these software. Make sure you get all 32 bit versions. Last night, I got the similar error because I installed Twisted 64 bit. Now, just uninstall and re-install Twisted ( http://twistedmatrix.com/Releases/Twisted/15.4/Twisted-15.4.0.win32-py2.7.msi). If that cannot fix the error, just uninstall all and start over. I also upload all software in this guide on my dropbox. https://www.dropbox.com/s/htzgl1e9viq0k84/p2pool_setup.rar?dl=0

I think I finally figured it out. Somewhere I had read that some wallets do not support a wildcard in the rpcallowip function. (i.e. 192.168.1.*) will not work.
Earlier, I specified the IP addresses of both my mining rigs individually. It seems the Mobilecash wallet does not support this, but the wildcard does work for rpcallowip. I'm now getting messages in the console: "Got new merged mining work!"
Thanks guys.
