Currently looking for some good turn-based RPGish type games. I can't really tell you EXACTLY what I want because I won't know until I play it, but I will list some games I've played from both genres that I've found to be fun. Please recommend any others you think are good. Games I've enjoyed (and the places you buy them in case you want one yourself): A good portion of the Final Fantasy series, currently waiting for FF V to come out on Steam in a few days. (Steam, consoles, handhelds, etc.) Darkest Dungeon (Steam) Grimrock (Steam maybe?) Final Fantasy Tactics (GBA) Fairy Fencer F (Steam) Any game from the Fire Emblem series (GBA/DS/GC/Wii) Knights of Pen and Paper (Steam/Mobile) Runestone Keeper (Steam) XCOM: Enemy Unknown (Steam) The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky (Steam) If you could suggest titles on Steam that'd be great, or just tell me where they're from if you remember. Thanks for the games, fellas!

not sure if you'll like these but here are the games that I've played and liked. Shin Megami Tensei III & IV (PS2 and 3DS) Persona 3 (PS2/PSP) and 4 (PS2/Vita) Valkyrie Profile Lenneth (PSX/PSP) & Silmeria (PS2) Disgaea 1 (PS2/NDS/PSP), 2 (PS2/PSP), 3~4 and D2 (PS3). Eternal Sonata (PS3) Valkyria Chronicles 1 (PS3), 2 (PSP), 3 (Vita) Project X Zone (3DS) Etrian Odyssey series (NDS/3DS) Class of Heroes series (PSP) Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 1~2 (NDS/3DS) I rarely use steam so I don't know if those games are available there.

Why not use emulator Vita, PS3, and 3DS doesn't have any emulator as far as I know. NDS, PS2, and PSP have. also Fire Emblem series and FF tactic are turn based strategy so I think OP are also looking for that kind of games. @kiritsugu lol ok. I don't play a lot of pc games cause my PC is always busy (and a little suck).

Honestly though, video games are so pointless.

Video games are just a form of entertainment. Everyone needs a way to blow off steam. Perhaps you should consider your audience if you don't want to come off as "mean". This is a forum filled with computer geeks (in fact Bitcoin mining used to be done with hardware specifically designed for computer gaming). Telling them that computer games are "so pointless" is probably not going to earn you any friends. I'd imagine that most of the users here think that jewelry is pointless, but they probably don't go to jewelry forums to share their opinion. That would be a perfect example of trollish behavior.

Thanks for your list of recommendations, I will look into some of these.
Personally, i would like to add that Mario Kart and Mortal Combat are my favourite ones.
Just try them out some time, anytime.

Codishmumu messaged me saying how bad she feels about that post. Right now, she's temporarily banned by hilariousandco. She probably said that just because everyone on this site discriminated against her. If technological people in this forum don't want to be discriminated by fashion advocates, they shouldn't be discriminating against them. After all, people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.
