Nothing available yet, but it was a proper insane thing to watch.
Neil Armstrong - "It's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind"...
Felix Baumgartner - "You only live once!"
I may have just watched the 'moon landing' of our generation live on the interenet... What a world.

The press conference confirms that Felix Baumgartner did indeed break the speed of sound during his stratospheric free fall.

It was awesome! I've waited one year for this to happen. What a historical day it is. I know it's not the same, but it this endeavor has the same aura as the first flight into space. Although the majority of the event was long winded.... but when that jump happened.. it was all worth it. I'm still watching the live coverage on the interview and Felix is one brave son of a B. I can't wait for the freefall footage to be released.

Found this quote on wired:
“Trust me, when you stand up there on top of the world, you become so humble. It’s not about breaking records anymore. It’s not about getting scientific data. It’s all about coming home.”
It's kind of touching and people who dream about living on Mars should meditate this imho.

The part when he's still in the cabin and opens the door before preparing himself to jump reminded me so much the 2001 scene where Dave must return in the spaceship without his helmet. When you think about it, there are quite a few similarities. The pod is about the same size as Baumgartner's cabin and both of them must get out of it in a dangerous way that most astronaut normally don't do.
