Yes! That was a mistake on their side and they did had the money to cover the loss.
Remember, many people asked on the thread to add an Investment Option in the site in the official Primedice thread and after it was detected that HufflePuff was lying, Stunna said that Primedice didn't allow Investment Option because sometimes unexpected things like that happen and he doesn't want to risk the Investor's money
