I don't look at mining from a cost analysis point of view. I look at it as I'm paying worthless paper for electricity, but I'm gaining something valuable in the end.

I really regret not being an early adopter a few years back during my dorm years. Not having to pay for utility bills might actually make up for having to eat cafeteria food on a regular basis.
