Well personally I am not into gambling for long term. I guess each of us has different skills or interests. There are people who've been in gambling for so long and they're successful. It will always depend on your interest into something or particularly in gambling. It may be a way life for some. And may be a risk for others. I guess winning it once and gambling you profit again and winning it again, then in the long run its the profit that you gambled then its really profitable.

Gambling can make a profit in the long term only if you invest in gambling sites. If you just play daily in anticipation of profit, then most likely all the money will be lost.

I think for the people who really have a good luckys in a gambling or in the one of gambling's game, without investing in a gambling's site., for the long term.. I think it can still be profitable for him/her.
By the way, I don't think that investing in a gambling sites will be profitable in the long term. In the case of investing, I think it's better to invest in another.

I think the odds will always be in the houses favour. It is possible but the steaks may have to be high really all you would need would be a couple of big wins at high steaks however your losses could be equally large as well.

i think long term gambling is not the right way in realtime casinos yes you will win depending on your luck but eventually if you will not stop playing especially in slot machine you wil slowly lose until all your winnings including your. I only see most people gamble for the long term, they are just losers, they do not have any profit from gambling, they just want to recover the loss but it is harder than they think, the loss is still growing over time when they gambled, profits never came to them. The number of people that succeed and earn profits in gambling is too rare, even without, think about the long term profit with gambling really is a funny thing, we do not lose too much was a very lucky thing, profit is impossible and profitable in the long run is something that only in dreams, casinos will always act and cheat when we want to win big, not easy to win them

I think gambling is not really profitable in the long run because, usually at the beginning you may win big amount already but in the long run or in the end you can end up loosing your money.  So if you are a gambler,  if you are already winning in the short run, you must stop it already don't be so greedy,  set some target and stop. 

It is the fact in gambling. Every person keeps on trying his luck in gambling because they think that may one day come in their life when their luck will start working and they will make bigger amounts of money in shorter intervals of time but the only thing we can do to such is to give them advice. Such people should be counseled immediately before their problem of gambling becomes their permanent issue.

Gambling can give you as much money for you per day if you're lucky, but if you're unlucky then you can lose as much money as you've spent on gambling. If you want to make a profit, then do not use too much money. Using money may increase your chances of winning big profits, but by then you are also increasing your risk for losing money.

I love how Tschai looked into both sides of the  answers to this question, but for me the answer can be quite tricky. I really do believe that gambling is a game of chance and luck, so with that you can easily state that it cannot be profitable in the long term since chance and luck doesn't really work with assurance. I don't know how gambling can give you assured profits every time you play since you don't know the outcome of the game until you're actually playing. On the other hand, as Tschai said anything is possible so I guess if you invest your winnings through different business or investment ventures then that's how, in some way, gambling can be profitable in the long run.

I once had the same plan for the daily profit when the crypto casinos didn't exist yet. I have made a lot of mathematical calculations which I had considered benefiting to my profit gain. As you are probably realizing right now, my techniques demolished my bankroll in the end and pulled me towards even more bets that I thought will bring my money back. For me the gambling game is the very thing not recommended for us to do. The gambling game has only a negative impact over its benefits. So many of you guys are missing the point. Betting on sports when done properly and trading on the betting exchanges is not about luck. These are skills whether it be studying the market (horses, football etc) or having an understanding of trading techniques. I see so many people here stating that gambling is all about luck and that you cannot be consistent in the long term. Many casinos games do come into this category because their is no strategy (roulette for example) but sports betting/trading is a skill.

Never say never , even the possibility are so low still it has a chance. Look at those people who claimed as a professional gambler on sports betting, they are the proof that it's profitable if you take it seriously , do it carefully and full of preparation, not just do it randomly without a clear planning.
