9月22日消息，日前2015中国国际信息通信展览会正在北京举办，中国电信相关负责人在会上介绍，截至8月底，全国电信宽带用户平均接入网速为17.5Mbps，仅次于韩国位居全球第二。



中国电信表示，截至目前，中国电信在江苏、上海、浙江、四川等省市的光网覆盖率已达90%以上；为超过1400万家庭用户提供了百兆接入服务。同时，为积极响应国家“提速降费”的号召，中国电信有望于2016年底在全国范围内基本实现“全光网”覆盖。

另在4G网络建设方面，中国电信在今年8月发布更快更稳的“天翼4G+”网络，目前“天翼4G+”网络下行速率峰值可达300Mbps，上行速率峰值可达50Mbps。
