they did not mark these coins with anything other than what you see in the pictures

Here is APMEX's link for the coin: http://www.apmex.com/product/85200/1-oz-gold-round-doritos-for-the-bold-w-box-coa

That's a real shame.

Ok, well, I am well trusted.  How did you want to proceed?  I obviously have an issue in paying up front.

Wow, this is definitely a unique gold item! Probably the most interesting gold item I've seen for sale here recently (besides the dead guy's gold fronts otrkid was selling  Cheesy ).

You are selling these for a very (relatively) cheap price as well- basically spot price for an ounce of gold. A max. mintage of only 60 coins is a crazy low minting run too. One would think this would make these highly desirable/valuable in the collector's market, except- I don't think anyone's ever even heard of "Doritos Gold"! I'm guessing you must have worked for the company?

Also, if these don't sell here I know a P2P marketplace where they would. Just shoot me a PM if you still have them in a few days or something.

Yeah it is a low mint & I would love to charge more..haha ..but it is a peculiar item, so I just have to find the right market/person

I do not work for Doritos.  These were produced for Doritos 50th. 1 coin per day was given/raffled off for 60 days. I just happened upon them and purchased them.

Ill send a PM about that P2P marketplace, not sure what that is Tongue

I was mistaken, around the rim of each coin it has the initials of the mint and .999

Selling gold on here is difficult especially as you have no real trust to fall back on. I'd recommend you take some more pictures with your username and date in view and accept escrow. That way you might get some more interest Wink.

here is the picture with username/date: https://i.imgur.com/27XBpxY.jpg

I also have no problem at all with ESCROW, however, I don't even really want BTC, I would rather just have USPS Money Orders

I have over 200 vouches on Heatware & AR15.com(where I sell all my gold)

I am just putting out feelers here, if someone is truly interested we can move to a more legit community..haha

Thanks for the picture and acceptance of escrow, that should put potential buyers at ease Smiley.

Good luck with your sales Smiley.

Same message I got.

Escrow would be great; however, I was hoping (since this is a bitcoin forum) that I could pay in bitcoin.
The dollar amount is fine though.

I don't see the assay marking on it. Even on apmex there is none on the front or back.

Is it on the rim?
