Until you realize that Google Play and iTunes know exactly who downloaded the necessary app.

The point here, I don't think is anonymity, it's having secure communications. This is from the founder of PGP and includes a whole suite of services, including their own phone plan. Plus it looks like they're less expensive and offshore. Pretty exciting and will be happy to see other companies follow suit. Should have appeal to BTC users!

Psy - let's hope that's next.

First let's use this company to promote Bitcoin! Why shouldn't they accept Bitcoin?

Haha it's only a matter of time.

You are in a maze of twisty little passages, all alike.

This is interesting but doesn't it also make a sort of single failure point?

Silent Circle have stated that they intend to open-source the application for peer review. See the interview with Phil Zimmermann at https://plus.google.com/+Scobleizer/posts/CXgdJ6eVLeu

http://silentcircle.bitcoineast.com/

This site says it takes bitcoin to buy silent circle credit, but I don't see where to buy it.
