Recently (April 21), Sapphire brought back the 5850 and 5830 for very low MSRP ($150 and $130 USD). I've been searching all over the net for the 5850, but it seems like no one has them in stock a month after release. Did anyone manage to grab some of these cards?

Most places have them out of stock : Amazon, tiger direct

Are there any other stores that carry this particular card?  Grin

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Those cards ran out a month ago a few weeks after they were reintroduced to the market.

They aren't sold anywhere anymore, and haven't been for nearly a month, and wont be restocked.

Thanks for the answer, I'll just have to search B&M in case they got some stock of these cards. Amazon review suggested one was sold recently, and says they are temporarily out of stock (but yeah it was probably a limited production)
