i am using multibit
id did have a warning message i think it said been sent back to sender or something but nothing was showing in wallet
The wallet is now showing as empty
i sent them to somebody and he has proved he never received i send to this person often and the blockchain etc says no transactions to wallet (i know you said forget it)
Ok, lets see if you answered the questions I asked:
- What wallet are you using? (Bitcoin Core, Multibit, Electrum, Armory, Blockchain.info, etc) You said: Multibit
- Does your wallet indicate that there are any "unconfirmed" transactions? Did you answer this?
- Does your wallet indicate a different balance than you think you should have?You said: "No"? I think that's what you said, because you sent the bitcoins and your wallet says they are gone?
- Did you send bitcoins to someone, and that person is claiming that they never received the bitcoins?You said: "i sent them to somebody and he has proved he never received"
- Did someone claim that they sent you bitcoins, and your wallet isn't showing that you received them?You said: No
So, you sent bitcoins to an address, and the recipient is claiming that the bitcoins never arrived at that address. We don't yet know if the wallet has any unconfirmed transactions, and your wallet is showing you the balance you expect it to (since you sent the bitcoins).
The next question is: What address did you send the bitcoins to, and when did you send them?
