Hey everyone.
I'm pretty new to Bitcoin and I have also read and been interested in Litecoin and Namecoin for a while now. Now I hear there are bunch of other cryptocurrencies, different branches of pretty much the same thing.
So can anyone tell me if there is another alternative cryptocurrency other then Namecoin and Litecoin worth watching?

The ones merge-mined at bitparking seem to be the most "mainstream" of the alts right now.
DevCoin, IXCoin, I0Coin (albeit this one is diminishing rapidly), NMC and BTC. LTC of course is not merge-mined but a strong alt. PPC is just getting off the ground so decent idea to keep an eye on it to see where it goes. SC/MC are possibly abandoned but also not likely going anywhere anytime soon, of course if the tires start getting kicked on the MC migration/whatever it could be worth while keeping an eye on it.

it seams like LTC is a good idea , after gpu miners leave BTC due to diff. increase , it will be a somewhat rare coin. speculators rised the price obviusly, coz week ago or 2, it was 0,05$ and now its 0,09$ whoever invested got his hands in the honey-pot cheers |

Litecoin has been rising, I think you should choose it is LTC. Simply put, we invest to get the highest profit. And this is probably the right alternative for you, a newcomer like me.  |
