Greetings,
I have a proposal to make!
I want to build a new pool for whatever currency/coin you decide. If we get enough people and can all agree on one, I will set it up ASAP.
I also have plans to set up an Algo Switching system based on most profitable coin/currency.
What do you say?

If you go by asking people for whatever coin they want you to build a pool for you might ended up not doing anything because you will receive hundreds of interest.

I say you should re-make the simplemulti pool concept using p2pool mining, now that they have shut down.

So I was able to successfully run simplemulti pool. I need to set up a currency server (for payouts), do a few edits and I believe it should be up and running. We'll see...

It is a nice idea if you could be running a low difficult but high reward coin pool, you will ended up building a multipool that changes to most profitable coin and thereby giving people more chance to earn some fund.

Exactly! I'm thinking of implementing an API hook up with these guys http://www.coinwarz.com/cryptocurrency I've been following this site and it seems to be pretty useful. Thanks to to these guys, I was able to act on some DigitalCoins-X11 while the difficulty rate was really low.

Actually coinwarz is a great website with resourceful information about coin mining profitability but I will like you to have more than one source of information in order to have a standard project completed.

I'll see what I can do. Do you recommend any other sources? Anyways I am on downtime because the stupid hosting solution decided to take my server offline since it was apparently experiencing an SYN flood. I'm thinking it was the P2P wallet I was running, and since it was it's first time running, it was probably downloading tons of gigs. Unless I got hacked or I installed malware, what do you guys think?

I do not have much knowledge about webhosting, malware or hacking so I can not give you any professional advise here.

Okay, I'm up and running again. I already have a domain setup and a litecoin core for payout, except it's taking forever to download the blocks (and then it crashes) so I need to consider a different payout method, any suggestions?
We also need to come up with a list of coins we want to mine so I can start setting up cores.

You should not expect litecoin block to just download in few hours actually it could take up to 3 days depending on your internet speed. You can choose any of the top cryptocoin but the best option for you remain bitcoin as payment method.

Cool, actually I originally wanted to do my payments in bitcions but the download was taking for ever (so I moved to litecoin) but I am back on bitcoin, just have to be patient. I am on block 214482...

Okay I am back and with good news!!! The site is up and running! Updates- I am half way done with a new UI.
- I am currently mining Goldcoin & Earthcoin (both scrypt)
- I can also mine Peercoin(sha-256) but it's disabled because I wasn't able to mine on it (maybe because I have no gpu on this computer, idk I can always enable it on request.)
- I am currently updating Fastcoin(scrypt)(very slow download)
Current Todos- More coins: Digitalcoin, whatever is most profitable in the next few days...
- Complete UI
- Find beta testers before I release to the public (please PM me if you are interested!)
- Build cron jobs to grab most profitable coin data (and alert me if coin not supported)
- Cleanup & Optimize
- Share with the World!
Let me know what you guys think!
