Hello all, and best wishes to you!
I would like to humbly request your help in resolving an issue that occurred as a result of my inexperience with Electrum. I had previously used Multi-Bit, but I find Electrum to be the superior wallet and I will continue to use it despite my problem. I only hope I can recover an Electrum wallet containing $200; not a lot of money to some, but I am not a rich man and I desperately need to regain access to it.
I failed to record important data such as my Seed during Electrum set-up. I used Coin Base to transfer the $200 to my new Electrum wallet, and the transaction was a complete success; the funds appeared in my Electrum wallet lightning fast.
However, when I attempted to transfer the $200 in my Electrum wallet to another bitcoin address, the problem occurred. I must have entered the incorrect password too many times and now the wallet actually no longer appears at all, and when I attempt to recover it, Electrum informs me this wallet is now in a "Watchable Mode" only and that I must "ensure I own the Seed Based Password, Master Keys, and additional data. As I mentioned, I failed to record this data.
Last night I briefly succeeded in making this wallet containing $200 reappear, but it disappeared again within seconds.
I really need to regain access to this wallet containing $200, ladies and germs. Please provide any help or advice you can.
Also, if you need any more data to help you form a plan of action, just let me know and I will provide.
Thank you very much for your time! Hopefully I can recover my $200 wallet somehow.
Thanks again!
