Forget that stupid reply.

There aren't many interesting coins with SHA256 algo to mine, most are still mining Bitcoin.
Have a look at Tompool, a Multipool supporting different algos. There you can mine single coins or use the profit switcher. The site will give you an overview of other SHA256 coins. It depends on the reason why you want to start mining. You want to support a certain coin? Only for profit? Building a coin portfolio, keeping them and selling when they get pumped (like TIT currently)? Mining low difficulty coins?

Another site to check is Coinwarz, but I wouldn't trust their figures too much. Also good to get a quick overview.

You could also use Nicehash and sell your mining power. It's like a multipool that pays in BTC.

For profit check out Poolpicker. It compares the daily profit of certain pools.

Forget that stupid reply.

Nothing stupid about the reply, he would have instantly obtained the information he required, first hit.

I know this is a bit late, but when I retire my antminers from BTC, I point them at DGB here: http://digihash.co/

I'm pretty sure there are more profitable coins to mine with your machines, but I like DGB, and when the price is above 60, my S1's are still money makers.

Disclaimer: I live in Quebec, Canada... our electricity is VERY cheap.
