BitLendingClub Rebranding To Loanbase
Every now and then, a popular Bitcoin service will relaunch under a different name.  In some cases, this is due to outside influences, such as a change in managerial positions or a new investor.  But in the case of BitLendingClub, they simply want to remove the “Bit” part of the company name and continue under the brand name “Loanbase”.

I received a notification of from bitlendingclub over a week ago for the change of name to loanbase.

That was my first impression as well, but maybe we're both connecting dots that aren't there Wink

No connection to Coinbase. In general we're more concerned about being connected to LendingClub than to Coinbase, there is the risk of brand confusion is much greater there.
