I have been trying to communicate with Bitintstant since Tuesday night when I made 2 separate deposits for $500 each and they decided to keep one for themselves. They communicated with me that evening, telling me they had paid it, without showing me any proof.  I the sent them numerous screenshots and emails asking for proof and stating the simple fact that my money NEVER went into my account.  If I did something wrong in the process, they need to show me.  either way, at the end of the day, $1008 sent, $480 received by me.

****EDIT-just received my BTC's so apparently the starting point for CS is this board.  Shame because I have had great service from them up until now.****

I made 2 separate deposits for $500 each

There seems to be a pattern.

MoneyGram.  Multiple tranactions, to get past the $500 per-transaction limit.

Bitinstant took a little longer then expected for me but came through  <-- Title changed from an earlier "I wuz robbed" title, much like yours.

If more than $500 through MoneyGram is the problem then maybe BitInstant should just limit transfers to $500 a day when through MoneyGram.

[Edit:

They communicated with me that evening, telling me they had paid it, without showing me any proof.

The blockchain is proof.  Does the blockchain show the payment to the bitcoin address you entered?  If so, they sent it.  If not, they didn't.

No I did not begin the communication this way. I started very very civil asking for help but then did not get anywhere and finally they stopped communicating.  I emailed over 20 times, called 5 times and left messages and spent numerous hours deciphering the blockchain info....

I had a similar problem with a smaller amount which got held up somewhere for about 30 hours.  I don't think they're trying to scam you, but it is awfully inconvenient, especially when they claim processing times measured in minutes.

My whole issue if that after 1am on Tuesday they did not respond to over 20 emails and 5 voice mails...if they had responded I would be in a different frame of mind

RESOLVED - WILL HESITATE TO USE THEM GOING FORWARD THOUGH....

Wow the same thing happened to me yesterday,
I PMed Bitinstant(Yankee) and he fixed the problem within hours. The problem was it got stuck in the fraud filter.
I thought I was scammed when I didn't receive my funds. This was a relief. Due to the fast customer support through this forum(not the website) , I might go today and purchase another $500 through bitinstant .
THANKS ALOT YANKEE AND BITINSTANT!!
