Offers are always written as "ItemX for 0.4BTC"

Seeing this, most people interested are going to Google for "BTC" and end up with :

"Benton Capital Corp" a 9M$ penny stock
Bahamas Telecommunications Company
Generic BTC wikipedia page.
BTC activewear
Belgian development agency (BTC Huh)
Behavior Tech Computer .TW
Bellingham Technical College
Original BTC manufactures lighting
Botswana Telecommunications Corporations
btc.si ?
https://btc-e.com  Whoa ! We're lucky it has a place on the first page. Thanks to BTC-E

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Depends on your place.

If I google BTC:

1. BTC AG www.btc-ag.com/
2. BTC-E | https://btc-e.com/

and on place 5:

Bitcoin - P2P digital currency bitcoin.org/

All previous versions of currency will no longer be supported as of this update

Even better:
Google "10 usd in euro", and you get
Quote
10 US dollars = 7.6505 euros
and a chart above regular search results..
Of course this is nothing we could influence, Google would have to implement this. Or not?

I fully agree, lets get "btc" way up there!
How?

Doesn't necessarily depend on place, but on your search history and how Google has YOU indexed. An 18 year old who's never searched for anything related to finance prior, would be lucky to see BTC on the second or third page.
