Their General Bullshit bitcoin thread is the best way to keep up with current Drama, but recently I cannot view the thread anymore and would have to sign up.
You know what would be the ultimate irony? If we get to buy discounted SA Accounts for Bitcoin.  Grin

Anybody up to it? Are there people with ties to Lowtax or something, since I doubt he'd accept it directly.  Grin

Bitcoin addresses contain a checksum, so it is very unlikely that mistyping an address will cause you to lose money.

Yes, sadly. I just recently discovered SA (This forum was really the first time I heard about it). Was quiet funny to read.

But singing on there, not worth the effort.

Does it cost money or why the BTC payment?

All previous versions of currency will no longer be supported as of this update

You were banned for being obnoxious as all hell.

Electric would fit in right well with us on the other hand.

I would spend those 20 bucks all over again. The butthurt from you guys was hilarious. I received 10 angry emails about how some of you goons are proud of their welfare and government assistance, and that I should be reported to the IRS.

I rarely go there, but the last time I did, I did see you. I never would have mentioned it, but now that you have--busted!

The Bitcoin threads are sometimes a good fun read, while other times--meh. I do have an account over there, purchased during the first time I was banned here and needed my daily Bitcoin fix. My doctorsssss say I'm getting better, though. Wish me ruck!

Isn't there a way to give away accounts for existing members? Or is this just for avatars and user titles?
I would be eternally grateful if somebody makes this happen, pm me if somebody knows a way. Wink

If I'm reading this right, anyone can just buy a gift certificate registration for you.  You could probably just get a disposable/rechargable card and have it work.

Won't YOU donate to the Bitcoiners SA Account fundraising drive?

Every day hundreds of people like you and I live without the ability to post in the Gibbis, only because their money is worthless there.  Isn't it time to open the gates and, in an indirect way, directly fund Lowtax's alimony?  Think to yourself, "Can ElectricMucus lurk long enough to realize that not every knee jerk reaction should be public?" and know that his account will be very short lived indeed.

Isn't it time for you to do your part and participate in this drive to create the Something Awful forums registration system..... with Bitcoins.

But can you live without the ability to post in YOSPOS?

Didn't you claim that someone else bought your first account for you?

All I can say is that this is Bitcoin. I don't believe it until I see six confirmations.
