Just announced on our national 24/7 news station, TV2 News:

16 nationwide diagnostics centres are going to be build to accommodate people for up to 16 days. "For people with diffuse symptoms" so they say. We are only 5.3 million Danes so it sounds about right.

For what kind of disease outbreaks would these be used?

All I can say is that this is Bitcoin. I don't believe it until I see six confirmations.

That the strange thing, they don't say anything about the reason for these centres or any special risks.

Our health care system works like in most western countries, no need for centres to round up people before they see their own doctor or seek hospital.

Currently we have an evolving story with 10 people committed with undiagnosed symptoms on the largest of our islands, "Bornholm" they have some neurological symptoms and poor blood oxygen levels and metallic tastes in their mouths. But that's too local to announce such centres nation wide.
