Earning depends on factors like game, time, budget. You can make a decent profit in short term but in long term it all depends on knowledge and luck of course.
Are you really sure about this we can make decent profit with gambling if we have enough money for it but i think that is really hard to make profit every time. You are right. It is possible to make profit some time, but it is very difficult to make profit all the time or long term. |

I don't think that professional player can easily make profit in gambling specially in the dice and other gambling that computerize is always depend on the luck of player. You can earn but you can't make it living. |

the only gambling that i can think someone can profit are poker and sportsbetting as it requires some skills to win and some people are really good in it specially the ones who are always playing in poker tourneys, but for the gambling that only requires luck to win, its impossible to make a living out of it as you will eventually end up losing |

I don't understand why gambling for short term ?
It is because in long term you will always lose as you are playing the house edge and with a short term you maybe will get lucky because of your own luck. In short term, some player have a huge variance and win alot but most people always continue and dont stop which is why they lose it That isn't true at all. In the long term, you are more likely to lose than win. In the short term, you are also more likely to lose, but since it is a smaller subset you have a slightly higher chance to win. I think in short term we can control ourselves better to minimize the risks as possible as we can. We can lose or win, but even in the case of lose it will be small lose , safest than the long term, as known we can't guarantee the result of our bets Thats one point. The other point is that the house would always have a edge over the gambler. E.g. If the multiplier is 2x, the person have to roll under 49.50 or over 50.49 to win. Anything between them, the gambler won't win. In the long run, the gambler would be likely to hit it and lose. |

I think most gamblers will lose at the end if they gamble for long time so no professionalism will work in gambling No. May be professional gamblers end their days in profit as they have more experience and better skill set to handle the gambling emotions and applying their thoughts at right timing. This makes more veteran player successful in gambling fields. |

If these professional gamblers make too much money, they will not allowed to gamble in the specific casino. That is true but they can gamble online without any limitation. I too feel that if one target to make money from gambling either every day or one shot big money then most likely they will lose money and will face bigger problems but if one just play some time for fun and if they are lucky then they can win big money during fun time as well. |

For poker games we need to pay either entry fee or percentage from winning amount in order to play. I hardly accept that each and every game requires luck for winning, there are many games only for skill set at right time. |
