Gambling can be fun as long as you don't want to rely on it as a source for paying the living expenses. If you think about gambling as a job where you can earn money if you do well, there will be a problem.

For most of us, we cannot make a living out of gambling. We treat it as entertainment, to be fun. For very few of the professionals, they can make a living. But the numbers are very rare. Very true words. Its just like becoming an athlete or a rock star or anything along those lines. Most people can't or won't do it just because of the changes. However it is possible, just not likely |

They will only remember their losses once they ran out of money  And they will said "I should've stopped when i win that much bits" Have control of your addiction or it will be a trouble  |

As a gambler, here is my personal professional opinion. Do not try to win big because you will not. You need to know the game you are playing. You need to understand the odds and understand that the House always wins. If I am betting 20,000 Satoshi, I will dip out when I win 2.5% for each gamble I am doing. It does not seem like a lot, however if you roll it over all in over and over, in about 500 turns you will have a nice chunk of change. The key is getting to that 500 mark. I am in day 34 of my project with this and I have over 2,000,000 Satoshi or .02 BTC from doing this. I always cut back 1/2 when I double allowing me to play again if I loose out, which I have. Hope this helps you build your strategy. Good luck.

Majority of people loose money by gambling.
That is 100% true. Most likely gambling houses will make more money than gamblers and most of the gamblers will lose if they gamble for long time. But if you bet in sports then their might be some chances to win but it shouldn't be betting every match. So for I got winnings more then lose in cricket betting. |

Who told you that? Who convinced you about that? What does it mean "being professional" in gambling? What kind of profession can be learned with gambling? There is nothing to learn. Because gambling is not a profession. Cannot be professional (everyone or someone) if there don't exist the profession. Gambling is totally luck. And addiction. So in other words is secure loss of all the money. The money earned (if you are one of the to few people who have won sometimes) and your money. At least you have understood that must stay away from it. Don't change your mind about this if you don't want to destroy your life and the life of your family. |

It is the first step to be addicted! gamblers tend to remember two things, their winnings, no matter how small, and their huge losses. and i mean huge losses as in a significant portion of your net worth, not the five dollars people deposit into a dice site for 3 seconds of fun. no one even gives a second thought to those rolls. No it is not 100% true ,many people on PD are up 10's of coins .You can also win using the same variance . maybe luck has a major role in it. |

Cricket betting is a nice gambling space, I use here Brazilian soccer matches sometimes (sportsbook), very easy to predict and win some cash. |

I'm highly sceptical about high profile gamblers, and believe most of it is rigged in a way, just to make promotions and interesting news headlines in order to attract new people to casinos. I think it's best not to dream about some insane winnings on impossible odds, and keep it realistic and safe. btw you don't "earn" when gambling, it's winning and loosing, and due to human greed, in most cases it ends with a loss. |
